There is a lot of passion associated with the game of golf. You either think it is the greatest game ever invented or a complete waste of time, real estate, and water. But your opinion will be passionate either way.

Everyone agrees that water is a real issue here in the desert and rightly so. Some find it obscene that we "waste good drinking water on grass." Others object to that as simplistic as there are laws on the books that clearly cover private uses of water. Which ever way you lean you will have to agree that to make any changes will cost somebody a lot of money. The question is who is going to pay.

In the mean time the reality is that the Tortolita Mountain Area, Tucson, and Arizona in general are noted as great golfing areas. Here is a list and info on these great areas.
